The apartment is situated on the Via d'Aoste, (click here for detailed map) a lively street with excellant restaurants, cafes and shops. The flat is within easy walking distance of the railway and bus stations where buses to all pistes depart regularly in the ski season, or one can walk a few minutes to numerous lifts. 50m to the Aiguille du Midi cable car (the third most visited natural site in the world) and 400m from the central square of Chamonix.

At the back of the building you will find the Place de Chamonix Sud, a traffic free square with its own supermarket, shops, bars, restaurants, etc.

Chamonix is a real Town with a population of over 10,000, not just a ski/mountain bike/climbing resort and offers something for everyone. Unlike its neighbouring resorts life continues after the last ski lifts have closed. There is an abundance of nightlife including a casino, cinema, theatre, ice hockey matches, bars, nightclubs and a variety of excellent restaurants.

Chamonix is easily accessible by car or train. The nearest international airports are in Geneva, Switzerland or Lyon in France.

Chamonix in the Spring/Summer is a real treat for the whole family. With some of the most beautiful scenary in Europe the Chamonix valley is a joy for walkers, mountain climbers, cyclists and golfers of all abilities.
